Last year we built and sold a Tuscan-style Show Home. This year we have built a Craftsman-style Show Home a few streets over. In both we utilized the title of this piece: Colour - Warmth - Texture. Seahorse yellow in the Tuscan-style home and Silver Sage in the Craftsman-style - with a slight shading in the colour on adjoining walls the combination provides a visual perception of texture, as well that of a larger space. Our chosen colour range is within those that provide a calming effect on ones emotions, as well they appeal to a wider audience, very important when looking to "sell" a home. With judicious and complimentary use of colour and textures in our furnishings and accents, as well placement of accessories, each potential purchaser has expressed an involuntary exclamation of joy upon entering the home....this is what I refer to as "warmth" - a state of lively and excited interest.
